ABOUT FORTH HOUSE CARAVAN PARK

Setting the Scene

We are a small family run business with a love for rural life and camping. With many happy memories of camping and caravanning, a decision was made to develop our own little site, to share our peaceful rural location and spectacular views.  Our logo contains a silhouette of Largo Law; an extinct volcano, and the Fife coast leading to the peninsula around North Queensferry. The site itself is set in a raised valley, formed between Largo Law, Lahill Craig and Flag Staff Hill, providing superb panoramic views over the Firth of Forth towards Edinburgh and beyond - a natural amphitheatre for you to relax and watch the world go by!  Located at around 170m above sea level and with very little artificial lighting, our site provides great dark skies - ideal for stargazing and the northern lights!

Our site is considered an ideal base camp with easy access for exploring nearby St Andrews, Elie and the East Neuk. After a busy day of tourism, what better way to sit back, relax and enjoy the countryside and coastal views.

The site has been gradually developed taking campers needs and expectations into consideration and we continually aim to make improvements. We have recently installed reliable site wide Wi-Fi , so whether you are working or streaming your favourite films you should experience reliable connectivity.

The site is surrounded by active agricultural land containing livestock and crops, providing a wonderful and peaceful setting for visitors. We encourage people to admire and enjoy the surrounding area however also request the Scottish Outdoor Access Code is adhered to.

Dogs are welcome, however please ensure all dogs are kept on leads both when on and off the site. We encourage the use of screw in anchor points to ensure dogs are kept under control and safe. We encourage dog owners to read this and remind them to ensure they clean up after their dogs.
